# File Attachments

Mail Rocket allows you to include attachments in your Gmail mail merges by uploading multiple files directly into your email template.

### **How to Attach Files in Mail Rocket**

* Launch Mail Rocket and navigate to the email template section.
* Go to **extensions -> Mail Rocket: Mail Merge For Gmail -> Create Mail Merge**

* Create a new template or edit an existing template.
* Click on "**File Attachment**" button as shown in the screenshot below.

* Drag and drop your files or click on "**Click to Upload**"

* Click to "**Add Attachment**" to save attachment.

### **How to Attach Large Files (larger than 5 MB)**  using Google Drive link.

Mail Rocket Supports Google Drive links as attachments.

In Gmail, Google Drive links will appear as attachments in your recipient's inbox.

* Create a new template or edit an existing template.
* Select text which needs to be hyperlinked. For example, in the screenshot below "list of holidays PDF" is selected.
* Then, click on "**Add Link**" button as shown in the screenshot below.

* Make sure the link is publicly accessible or the recipient has access to the file.
  1. Upload your file to your Google Drive.
  2. **Right-click** on your file.
  3. Go to "**Share**", then click on "**Share**".&#x20;
  4. Under "**General access**", select "**Anyone with link**".
  5. Copy the link that Google Drive gives you.
* Enter a Google Drive link in the popover as shown in the screenshot below.

* Click on "**Save**".
